6月15日上午，南华大学2017年毕业典礼在北校体育场举行，国际学院首届来自三个不同国家的国际毕业生共计15名学生参加了此次典礼。其中临床医学专业14名（13名巴基斯坦籍、1名加纳籍），国际贸易专业1名（索马里籍）。

On the June 15, 2017, USC’S first batch of international students smoothly graduated, which marks a milestone in USC’s higher education history. Among the batch, 14 majoring in MBBS(besides 1 Ghanaian,13 are Pakistanis), and 1 majoring in International Trade (Somalian)

典礼伴随着中华人民共和国国歌在庄严的升旗仪式中拉开帷幕，在校领导宣读学位授予文件之后，15名国际学生上台接受全体校领导的学位授予仪式及拨穗礼。随后，巴基斯坦学生Ameer Sajid作为国际毕业生代表在典礼上发言。发言中Ameer Sajid表达出了对母校南华大学的热爱和不舍、对全校教师的感激以及对即将离校的全体毕业生的祝福。Ameer Sajid的发言让在场师生感同身受，现场一次又一次的响起了雷鸣般的掌声。

The USC north campus stadium witnessed this commemorative moment. With the resounding national anthem of P.R.China, a solemn flag-raising ceremony lifed the curtain of 2017 USC Commencement and Degree Conferring Ceremony. After the president of the university announced the degree awarding document, 15 international students collectively stepped onto the rostrum to receive their diploma and degree. Later, Ameer Sajid, a Pakistani MBBS graduate, on behalf of all the batch members, delivered a speech expressing their appreciation and gratitude towards their Alma Mater- the University of South China, towards all the teachers that had helped them in their process of pursing study, and also giving best wishes to all graduates of 2017. Thunderous applause greeted his heartfelt speech.

国际学院首届毕业生顺利毕业也为我校的国际教育树下了一块里程碑，国际学院将再接再厉，为南华大学培养出更多优秀的国际学子。

The first batch of international students smooth graduation not only unveils a new chapter of USC international education, but also will be engraved deeply in the history of USC’s higher education journey.
